Canine Academy Training Center has highly trained canines to detect controlled substances in a variety of situations. These dogs are trained to alert to methamphetamine, marijuana, cocaine and heroin. Other controlled substances will be added on request. We train the canines in realistic situations including vehicles, buildings, open areas and item searches. All canines are trained for search work before the handler arrives for the two week handler course. The canines can also be taught tracking if required by purchasing agency.
